Tom Kieran Doyle is a ceramic artist and arts educator born in Pittsburgh, PA, but currently living in Washington, DC. His 10 plus years in art classrooms range from teaching high school ceramics to mentoring college art education students. He is currently the 3D Design instructor and Exhibitions Coordinator at Stone Ridge School in Bethesda, MD. Previously, Tom worked as the Studio Technician at the Chautauqua Institution, as a Work Exchange at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia, and at the Guldagergaard International Ceramic Research Center in Skælskør, DEN. He has also served as the Gallery Manager at The Schulman Project and as Program Director of MICA’s Pre-College program. Tom’s artwork has been shown at several galleries and art centers around the U.S. He holds a BFA in Ceramics and a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Maryland Institute College of Art.
